   This is the first intercontinental all-cargo flight route opened by Ningbo Airport and the fifth international (regional) all-cargo flight route. In the future, Ala Ningbo seafood, fruits, speciality products, etc. will be flown to the Dutch market in as fast as 12 hours and 40 minutes; wooden shoes, diamonds, flowers, cheeses and other famous products from Amsterdam, Holland, will be on board the plane at noon, and will arrive at Ningbo in the early hours of the morning.Flight CK291 took off from Ningbo Lishe International Airport on time and flew to Amsterdam, Holland. This marks the official opening of China Eastern Airlines' all-cargo flights between Ningbo and Amsterdam.


   This route is operated by China Cargo Airlines, a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines Logistics Company Limited, with two flights per week: every Tuesday and Thursday at 13:00 Ningbo, arriving at Amsterdam at 00:40 the next day, and the return flights are every Wednesday and Friday at 13:40 Ningbo. The flight is operated by a Boeing 777-200F freighter with a full cabin volume of about 550 cubic metres and a cargo capacity of 60 tonnes. As an important aviation hub on the "Belt and Road", Amsterdam International Airport is the gateway to the continental region and ranks fourth in Europe in terms of cargo throughput.

As an important hub of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the national "One Belt, One Road" strategy, Ningbo has unique land, sea and air transport advantages, and is an important node city of the Yangtze River Delta air cargo network. The opening of the route will promote the freight traffic between Ningbo and the Yangtze River Delta region and the European region, boosting the development of air freight in Ningbo and laying the foundation for Ningbo to build a demonstration zone of airside economy. Data provided by Ningbo Airport and Logistics Park Management Committee shows that in the first quarter of this year, Ningbo Airport cargo business against the trend of soaring, the whole territory to achieve 21,900 tonnes of cargo and mail throughput, an increase of 20% year-on-year.
